Mixed by the Bay is a Melbourne-based boutique production house leveraging, sound and motion to deliver innovative luxury experiences across the automotive and hospitality industries. 

The studio has a long history mixing, remixing and producing music for Porsche, Red Bull Media House, ITV, Cafe Del Mar, Costa Del Mar, NBC Universal, Hed Kandi, Lovenest and Heathcote II Vineyard with services for advertising, film and television available on request.

Founded by producer and instrumentalist Dr Gene Shill, Mixed by The Bay has ongoing commitment to leveraging digital technologies to reshape the automotive and hospitality landscape and positioning brands at the forefront of innovation and luxury.

Gene is also a Senior Lecturer in Entrepreneurship at Monash Business School and teaches and researches the intersection of corporate entrepreneurship, creativity, and cutting-edge digital technologies. Hi expertise lies in the emerging field of creative entrepreneurship (digital assets), the experience economy and intellectual property and legal frameworks to protect and trade digital assets.
